Methodology

Through curricula, group courses, and individual education, Sex Ed for You provides clients with accessible, comprehensive, and inclusive information about sex and sexuality.

Through a biopsychosocial model of care that looks at the interconnection between biology, psychology, and socio-environmental factors, Sex Ed for You increases the attainability of sexual health.

Through inter-disciplinary collaboration in the form of a Triad between Care Provider (Midwife, GYN, OB/GYN, PCP, Therapist, PT, Doula, etc), Client and Sexuality Educator, Sex Ed for You treats Sexual dysfunction holistically.

Through embodied education, Sex Ed for You stresses the importance of the non-mental factors involved in learning, and that signal the importance of the body and feeling. (R.L. Lawrence) Through this process:

  • Body and mind cooperate in the learning

  • Action and thinking are intertwined
