Do you ever second guess your choices? If so, when?
Do you ever achieve something (a desired job, promotion, event, relationship) and then still doubt your capacities or capacity to function in that space? If so, give an example.
Have you ever reached a result and then immediately sought out new goals? If so, when and how?
What would it mean to allow ourselves to continue to develop while we simultaneously allow ourselves to enjoy our choices, goals, and results?
Instead of viewing ourselves as unable or “not enough” what if we asked new questions? What is a NEW QUESTION you could ask yourself instead of “can I do this?”
More curious questions can open the door to new answers and theories that can be highly beneficial to everyone. What’s an example of a curious question that starts with, “I don’t know, but…”
What if instead of looking inwards at our own inadequacies, a practice that undermines our own assessments of ourselves, we looked outward at patterns that can help us live a more functional, ordered and secure life? What would this change?
What patterns do you see? What could allow you to live a more functional, ordered and secure life in this new season?
Sometimes we need space to enjoy a little self-absorption in order to attune to what might need to change. What permission to be a little self-absorbed could you give yourself today?
How could some inner reflection help your investigative processes?
