Join us from 4-7pm on Sunday, October 1 at Atelier Lynchburg for an afternoon of gentle teaching, nourishment, and mindful meditation on the topic of rest, radical self-love, and pleasure as the greatest antidote to pain.
Wear your comfiest clothes and bring a pillow and blanket from home. We will provide food, drink, journal prompts, guided meditation, and liberating conversation.
Self-love cannot flourish in isolation, and we must hold each other accountable to do so.

Breana Turner
is a multifaceted woman who has a passion for empowering women. She is the founder of Sisters with Ambition, a mentoring, and confidence cultivating program for middle and high school young women. As a proud Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. member, Breana understands the importance of “Service to All Mankind.” Breana often uses her platform and voice to bring awareness to the importance of women’s health and empowerment. She is passionate about topics that surround the impact of the Superwoman Complex on Black women’s health, resilience, and overcoming challenges. She is a 2021 Master of Public Health graduate from Virginia Tech. Breana also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from George Mason University. Currently, Breana is a PhD candidate pursuing Translational Biology, Medicine, and Health at Virginia Tech. Her current research interests align with Black maternal health and Black and African American health and wellness. Breana continuously aspires to advocate for women’s health, advance health equity, and uplift and empower others.
