October Journal Prompts
What would your sexuality be like if you thought of it as holy and sacred? What would it mean if your sensual curves came from the same source that created the ocean, the waves, and the stars?
If you were a goddess, what would you be the goddess of? Why? Who comes to you for help? Who is frightened of you?
What would your sexuality feel like if it was without guilt, shame, or fear? What would it look like? What would people say about you?
What is something you have created? Where is it now? Why did you create it? Who does it serve?
Are you still trying to hang on to or control something or someone you’ve created? What would it feel like to let it/them go?
What is one creative thing you would like to do this month? Write down how you could accomplish this joyous task - a step-by-step plan.
Howard Thurman once said, “Don’t ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive!” What does this quote mean to you? What jumps out at you? How could you put this into practice?
The Hemlock tree takes nourishment from the nurse log without apology. Are you good at taking? Can you practice asking for what you want this month? Try to use the phrase, “May I ___________”. Then if someone answers with, “Yes, you may.” Luxuriate in the feel of getting what you want. Celebrate taking!
