I didn’t think it would be this hard…

Last week I had bouts of depression, anxiety, and complete overwhelm. My entire body was transported back to church cultures where I felt compelled to JADE (justify, argue, defend, and explain) myself at every turn.

Not only was I writing the curriculum for my PLEASURE FOR PURITY CULTURE SURVIVORS course, I was preparing a TedX style talk on Purity Cultures for a local church. These two projects required me to dive back into the “belly of the beast” and my body remembered it all. It remembered the silencing, the stifling, the tempering, the doubting, and the control of my father, my pastors, my friends, my church everything.

I had to stop and reparent myself over and over. Repeating, “I am here. This is now.”

I say this so that you may know how deeply I applaud your bravery. If you are reading this and considering joining my six-week course that starts tomorrow, please know that you are seen. Together we will create a container that will hold space for each of our unique stories. Together we will embrace our sexuality!

If you feel this course would help heal wounds and restore your capacity for pleasure I would love for you to join me. I only have a couple spots left! As long as you register by 6:30pm tomorrow I can ensure you receive your digital workbook and zoom link to be ready to begin at 7pm!

Celebrate #womenshistorymonth by regaining access to your pleasure! CLICK HERE TO REGISTER NOW: https://sexedforyou.com/upcoming/pleasure-for-purity-culture-survivors-virtual

If a Purity Culture has affected your sex life, your relationships, or even your moods, this virtual six-week course is for you. Students will leave with a deeper understanding of Purity Culture origins, agendas, and impacts.

Beginning March 8th at 7:00pm, we will meet for six consecutive weeks.

Participants will be given tools to develop a healing practice of self-love and reclaim their bodies and sexuality for themselves. Register now!
