“It's strange that some of us seem to need permission to remember we're special so that we can position ourselves at the top of our priority list." Christine Page, M.D.
Do you give yourself permission to be placed at the top of your priority list? Why or why not?
Do you ever find yourself so busy worrying about the feelings of others you fail to listen to your own emotions? Write down an actual example?
How comfortable do you feel saying no to another and yes to yourself? Why?
Have you ever found that it took sickness to quiet your body/mind/calendar enough that you could pause to consider what might need? Write down an actual example.
Christine Page, MD. Says that, "Our physical body acts as the soul's most perfect messenger." What does this mean to you today?
She goes on to say that. "the body listens more intently to the soul's desires than it does to the desires of the personality or ego." Do you agree?
If the soul’s desires are separate from the personality and ego? Would this make you feel better about what your body is asking for?
What role does permission play in your life?
From whom are you still seeking permission?
What if the permission to provide that which our soul needs is yours alone to give? Does that require that you take on more responsibility for your own well-being?
