  2. What was your favorite summer activity as a child? Why?

  3. What signaled the beginning of summer for you in your youth? Why?

  4. Think back on a time from childhood that filled you with playful delight. What was it? What did you feel?

  5. What role did you play in the summers? Babysitter? Sunbather? Athlete? Camper? Dancer? Counselor? What parts of these roles did you enjoy? What did you resent? Do you carry any of these joys or resentments into summer now?

  6. What is the difference between “childlike” and “childish” to you?

  7. What could you do to make time and space for childlike play this month?

  8. What is the difference between the playful fun you'd like to have this summer and what you experienced in childhood? What is the same?

  9. What feelings will you feel when you experience playful summer fun? Where will you feel them in your body?

  10. What will make you exclaim, "I'm here and I'm glad I am!"

  11. In what ways could you bring play into your sexual encounters - solo or partnered?
